The 6th Annual Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire returns to the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum this August 26th and 27th. The Mini Maker Faire features project demonstrations, hands-on activities, learning opportunities, and the chance for visitors to learn new skills such as soldering, sewing, rocket building, and welding. Hours are 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children, seniors, and military. For more information, or to purchase tickets, go to www.MakerFaireAbq.com.

The Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire is part science fair, part county fair, part interactive show-and-tell, and part something entirely new. The Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire is a multi-generational gathering that brings together tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “Makers” come to the Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire to show what they have made, and to share what they have learned.
